Our Programmes
Three ways to find the answers you need
Whether you're starting from scratch or building on what you already know, Calmyear has a programme suited to where you are.

How Calmyear works
Name the questions
Every participant begins by identifying the questions they actually have — not the ones they think they should have. This makes the learning relevant from day one.
Find reliable sources
Calmyear points participants to official Thai bodies and documents. We do not interpret regulations — we show you where to find the authoritative text yourself.
Stay organised over time
The membership and community programme support ongoing organisation — seasonal reminders, updated materials, and peer conversation across the year.
Programme 1
First Questions Session
A focused two-hour session designed for people who are starting to think about later-life planning but aren't sure where to begin. A facilitator helps you organise your thinking and produces a personalised question map with pointers to official sources.
- Approximately two hours, in-person or remote
- Personalised question map as take-away
- Pointers to official Thai pension sources
- General education only — no personal advice given
- Available individually or for small groups (up to 4)
What to expect
The facilitator opens with open questions. Participants share what they know and don't know. By the end, you have a structured list of your key questions with directions to the right sources.
Best suited for
People who are 5–15 years from retirement and want to start organising their thinking. Also valuable for those who have encountered confusing documentation and want to understand what applies to them.
What you leave with
A written question map specific to your situation, a short reading list from official sources, and clarity on which pension systems are relevant to your employment history.
Programme 2
Year-Round Information Membership
An annual membership providing ongoing access to Calmyear's plain-language explainer library and a structured seasonal reminder calendar. Members receive updates whenever official guidance changes, and can revisit any material at any time.
- Full explainer library on Thai pension systems
- Seasonal record-keeping reminder emails
- Quarterly content updates when rules change
- Self-paced — no scheduled sessions required
- Email support for clarifying content questions
What's in the library
Topics covered include SSF contribution records, GPF withdrawal conditions, NSF voluntary enrolment, and documentation checklists for common later-life administrative tasks.
Best suited for
People who prefer to learn at their own pace and want a reliable reference to return to throughout the year, particularly around key administrative periods.
Renewal
Annual renewal. Members receive a renewal reminder 30 days before expiry. The First Questions Session can be added as a complement at the time of membership sign-up.
Programme 3
Community Seasons Programme
A full-year facilitated programme built around four quarterly gatherings and a printed companion booklet. Participants meet as a group, share experiences, hear from informational speakers, and build a community of peers at the same life stage.
- Four facilitated gatherings per year (Jan, Apr, Jul, Oct)
- Printed member companion booklet included
- External informational speakers each session
- Access to membership explainer library included
- Community only — no advice is given at any gathering
Gathering format
Each gathering runs approximately three hours. It opens with a facilitated group discussion, includes a 45-minute informational talk, and closes with open conversation time and light refreshments.
Best suited for
People who value shared learning and find peer conversation useful. Particularly popular among those within 3–7 years of retirement who want both structured information and a social connection with others at the same stage.
The companion booklet
A printed, annotatable booklet covering the key topics discussed across the four seasons. Designed to be written in, tabbed, and referenced throughout the year — a personal record of the learning journey.

Choosing the right option
All three programmes are educational and informational. The differences come down to format, depth, and how you prefer to learn.
