2. Acceptance of Terms

By visiting the website or enrolling in a programme, you agree to be bound by this Agreement. If you do not agree, please discontinue use immediately. You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering a binding agreement. By proceeding, you confirm both.

3. Service Description

Calmyear provides pension education and general information resources aimed at adults who are approaching or in retirement. All content is educational in nature and is intended to help readers identify questions and locate official sources. Nothing we provide constitutes financial, legal, or professional advice.

Programmes are delivered in Bangkok, Thailand, and remotely where specified. We reserve the right to adjust delivery formats in response to circumstances outside our control, while maintaining the educational substance of each programme.

4. Enrolment & Access

Enrolment is confirmed upon receipt of full payment. Following enrolment you will receive a confirmation by email with joining details. Access to online materials is personal and non-transferable. You are responsible for keeping your access details secure.

Membership access begins on the date of enrolment and continues for twelve months, after which renewal is required to maintain access.

5. User Responsibilities

When accessing the website or participating in any programme, you agree to:

  • Use resources solely for personal, non-commercial educational purposes.
  • Treat other participants and facilitators with courtesy and respect.
  • Refrain from recording, reproducing, or distributing any session content without prior written consent from Calmyear.
  • Not share membership access credentials with any other person.
  • Provide accurate information when submitting enquiry or enrolment forms.

We reserve the right to remove any participant who disrupts a session or acts in a manner contrary to the spirit of shared, respectful learning.

6. Intellectual Property

All website content, session materials, companion booklets, and programme resources are the intellectual property of Calmyear or our licensed content contributors. You are granted a limited, personal, non-exclusive licence to access and use these materials for your own educational purposes during the period of your enrolment or membership. This licence does not permit redistribution, reproduction, or commercial use of any kind.

Any feedback or suggestions you share with us may be used to improve our programmes without obligation to you.

7. Payment Terms

All prices are quoted in Thai Baht (฿) inclusive of applicable taxes. Payment is due in full at the time of enrolment. We accept payment via the methods presented at checkout. We do not store card details; payment processing is handled by a third-party gateway under their own terms.

8. Programme-Specific Terms

First Questions Session

This is a single two-hour session. Its purpose is educational: to help you name the questions worth exploring and to point you toward official, reliable sources. Nothing discussed in the session should be treated as personal, financial, or legal guidance.

Year-Round Information Membership

Membership gives access to a library of plain-language explainers and seasonal reminder communications. Content is reviewed and updated periodically. We do not warrant that all information reflects the most current official guidance at all times; we encourage members to verify details with relevant authorities.

Community Seasons Programme

This programme consists of four quarterly peer gatherings per membership year, plus a printed companion booklet. Gatherings are facilitated discussions focused on connection and shared learning. No individual advice is given at any gathering. Dates are published at the start of each year and are subject to change with reasonable notice.

9. Disclaimers

All content and programmes are provided for general educational and informational purposes only. Calmyear does not provide financial, legal, tax, or investment advice. Nothing on our website or in any programme should be relied upon as a substitute for professional advice tailored to your personal circumstances.

We make reasonable efforts to ensure that information is accurate and up to date, but we do not warrant completeness or ongoing accuracy. Official pension regulations, tax rules, and related requirements may change; always verify current details with the relevant Thai or international authority.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Thai law, Calmyear's total liability for any claim arising from your use of the website or a programme shall not exceed the amount you paid for the relevant programme. We shall not be liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental losses of any kind, including loss of earnings, loss of data, or decisions made based on information encountered through our programmes.

We are not liable for matters outside our reasonable control, including disruption caused by natural events, utility failures, or changes in law.

11. Indemnification

You agree to hold Calmyear, its staff, and facilitators harmless from any claim, loss, or expense arising from your breach of these terms, your misuse of programme materials, or your conduct during any session or gathering.

12. Termination

You may cancel your enrolment or membership at any time by contacting us. Refund terms in Section 7 apply. We may suspend or end your access to programmes without notice if you breach these terms or act in a manner harmful to other participants. Sections 6, 9, 10, 11, and 13 survive termination.

13. Dispute Resolution

These terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Thailand. If a concern arises, we ask that you contact us first at [email protected] so we can seek a prompt, informal resolution. If we are unable to resolve matters informally within 30 days, either party may refer the dispute to the courts of Bangkok, Thailand, which shall have exclusive jurisdiction.

14. General Provisions

  • Entire agreement: This Agreement, together with our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, constitutes the full agreement between you and Calmyear regarding use of our website and programmes.
  • Severability: If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full effect.
  • Waiver: Our failure to enforce any provision on one occasion does not constitute a waiver of that provision.
  • Assignment: You may not transfer your rights or obligations under this Agreement. We may transfer ours to a successor organisation, with prior notice to active members.
  • Notices: Formal notices should be sent to [email protected] or by post to our registered address.

15. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The revised version will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Where changes are material, active members will be notified by email at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Continued use after that date constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
